Doug McMillon
Doug McMillon became Walmart’s president and CEO in 2014. However, he has been serving the company since a long ago. From 2009 to 2014 he was president and CEO of Walmart International, and from 2005 to 2009 he remained president and CEO of Sam’s Club. Doug McMillion has worked at Walmart for more than 30 years serving in senior leadership roles in all of the company’s business segments.

Rachel Brand is Walmart’s executive vice president of global governance, chief legal officer, and corporate secretary. Prior to joining Walmart, Rachel served as the United States Associate Attorney General and was the first woman to serve in this role. She also serves on the board of director for Walmart foundation. Rachel has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Minnesota-Morris and a J.D. from Harvard Law School.

Suresh Kumar is the executive vice president and global chief technology officer (CTO) and chief development officer (CDO) of Walmart, Inc., responsible for setting out the technical strategy and combining computing innovations with Walmart’s strengths to provide superior customer experiences. Suresh has 25 years of technology leadership experience. He has recently served as vice president and general manager of display, video, app ads, and analytics at Google. Suresh has worked at Microsoft and Amazon earlier in various leadership roles. He has a PhD in engineering from Princeton University and a bachelor of technology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.

Donna Morris is executive vice president and chief people officer for Walmart, Inc. She is responsible for attracting, retaining and developing talent at Walmart Inc and has worked for Adobe as chief human resources officer and executive vice president of employee experience. Donna comes from Ottawa, Canada and has a bachelor of arts degree in political science from Carleton University. She also holds the Society for Human Resource Management – Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP), Senior HR Professional (SHRP) and Canadian Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designations.

John David Rainey is the executive vice president and chief financial officer for Walmart, responsible for accounting and controls, corporate strategy and development, business planning and analysis, global procurement, internal audit, treasury, tax and investor relations. Before he joined Walmart in 2022, he was PayPal’s chief financial officer and executive vice president, global customer operations. John has above 20 years of financial management experience. He earned his MBA and Bachelor of Business Administration from Baylor University.

Dan Binder leads the Global Treasury, Tax and Risk Management functions for Walmart. He joined Walmart in 2018 as vice president of investor relations. Before joining Walmart, he spent 25 years on Wall Street authoring research on retail sector. He has a Bachelor of Science degree from St. John’s University, and he is a CFA charterholder.
Cedrik Clark | Executive Vice President, Store Operations, Walmart U.S
Cedrik is responsible for operations of more than 4,700 stores in the US, serving customers on the front line and leading 1.2 million store associates. He joined Walmart in 2002. He is a graduate of Washington State University with a degree in Communication and Media Studies.
David M. Chojnowski | Senior Vice President and Controller
As Walmart’s principal accounting officer, David is responsible for financial reporting, internal control and accounting policy across the company’s global operations. Before joining Walmart in 2011, he has worked in leadership roles at Burger King and General Motors. He has earned a master of business administration from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan and is a certified public accountant.
Elisebeth Collins | Senior Vice President and Chief Counsel, Regulatory & Specialty Legal, Walmart U.S.
Elisebeth Collins has decades of experience in senior regulatory legal, compliance, and policy roles in three public companies and in the U.S. government. Beth earned her Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School and her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Chicago.
Kevin L. Buncum | Executive Vice President, Neighborhood Markets, Walmart U.S.
Before becoming the Vice President of Neighborhood Markets, Walmart, Kevin has also held other leadership roles in the company. He was the CEO of International Medical Solutions immediately before he joined Walmart. He has earned an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Julie Barber has more than 17 years’ experience working at Walmart. She is a graduate of the University of Arkansas and holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and a minor in Communications. Julie was named one of Mass Market Retailers Most Influential Women in Retailing in 2021.

Dan Bryant has also served at the US Department of Justice and in a leadership role at Pepsico. He has taught law at George Washington University’s School of Law, Washington, D.C., and Columbia Law School, New York. Dan received his bachelor’s and Juris Doctor degrees from American University, Washington, D.C., and his master’s degree from Oxford University (Keble College), England.

Megan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from Oklahoma State University. She became the chief merchant at Sam’s club in September 2019.

Chris leads Walmart’s multi-disciplinary ethics and compliance program and team for Walmart’s operations outside the US. He joined Walmart Canada as a senior legal counsel in 2004. He has earned his Juris Doctor from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario.

Seth joined Walmart in 2021. He is responsible for accelerating the growth of Walmart Connect (media), Walmart+ (membership), Walmart Data Ventures (data monetization) and business partnerships. Seth has a Bachelor of Arts from Vassar College and Master of Business Administration from New York University.

Jerry is responsible for the data security of 230 million Walmart customers and 2.3 million associates. He holds many technical certifications and has completed industry-recognized, professional education programs with both the Harvard Kennedy School (Cybersecurity & Policy) and Carnegie Mellon University (CISO Institute).

Before she joined Walmart, Denise was interim CEO at Aerosoles. She received an M.B.A. from the Wharton Business School and a B.S. from Boston College. Denise has received several honors from prestigious organizations throughout her distinguished career.

Brandi worked for Alltel corporation before joining Walmart. She graduated from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, Ark., with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. She has also served as senior vice president, chief audit executive for Walmart.

Silvia has been with Walmart for more than 20 years and served in key leadership roles across merchandising. She graduated from the University of Jordan with a B.A. in Marketing and earned her MBA from the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville.
Kerry Kotouc | Senior Vice President & Chief Counsel, U.S. Retail Operations
Kerry, as the leader of Walmart US legal team, is responsible for ensuring compliance across all markets. Kerry earned a bachelor’s degree in English from Ohio State University and a Juris Doctor from the University of Missouri at Kansas City’s School of Law.
John Laney | Executive Vice President, Food, Walmart U.S.
John Laney has worked for Walmart for more than 15 years has served in key leadership roles across merchandising and store space and design. He graduated from John Brown University with a B.A. in Organizational Management.
Larry was a Special Agent with the United States Secret Service before he joined Walmart. He has more than 15 years of leadership experience at Walmart. Larry earned his Master of Arts in Education and Bachelor of Applied Science from Southern Arkansas University.
Diana has been with Walmart for more than 19 years. She has an extensive background in business and supply chain management. Diana earned her bachelor’s in business administration from Oklahoma State University and her master’s in operations management from the University of Arkansas.
Kathleen joined Walmart in 2013 and before that she had worked for more than 20 years for McKinsey & Company. She was recognized by Fortune as one of “The World’s 50 Greatest Leaders” in 2018. She earned a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from Boston University, as well as a Master of Arts in politics, philosophy and economics from Balliol College at Oxford University, where she was a Rhodes Scholar.
Dwayne Milum leads the global internal audit function for Walmart. He has served at Walmart for 18 years in different financial leadership roles. Dwayne graduated summa cum laude with a BBA from Southern Methodist University. He is a Certified Public Accountant.
Matt is responsible for overseeing Walmart’s multi-disciplinary ethics and compliance program and team. He has previously served as a Deputy Assistant Attorney General in the Criminal Division of the DOJ. Matt holds a Bachelor of Arts in economics from the University of Cincinnati and a Juris Doctor from the University of Michigan Law School.
Nuala leads Walmart’s Digital Citizenship organization, advancing the ethical and responsible use of data and technology. She has served as president and CEO of the Center for Democracy and Technology before joining Walmart. Nuala has a B.A. from Princeton University, an M.Ed. from Harvard University and a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center.
Allyson is responsible for developing a world class communication function to advance Walmart’s reputation and support its business strategy. She has also worked previously as the chief corporate affairs officer for Yum! Brands, Inc. Allyson holds a Bachelor of Science degree from The University of Florida.
Lance joined Walmart 32 years ago. He is responsible for the operations of nearly 600 Sam’s Clubs in the US and Puerto Rico. Lance earned a bachelor’s degree in music education from East Tennessee State University.
Steve has financial responsibility for the Walmart U.S. P&L. He has earlier worked for Yum Brands!. Steve earned a BSBA in Accounting from the University of Louisville and an MBA from Indiana University Southeast.
Christopher is responsible for human resource management at Sam’s Club. He earned a Bachelor of Science in psychology from Xavier University and a Master of Arts in industrial/organizational psychology from Hofstra University.
Kieran is responsibility for all aspects of Walmart’s U.S. Store Operations and Supply Chain He joined Walmart more than 25 years ago and Sam’s Club in 2022. Kieran is a graduate of the Nottingham Trent University Law School. He is also a graduate of the Harvard Business School Program for Leadership Development.
Brian leads the retail pharmacy, optical and healthcare delivery lines of businesses operating in Walmart’s U.S. supercenters and neighborhood markets. He has a master’s in business administration from the Owen School at Vanderbilt University and a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Tennessee. Brian joined Walmart in 2021.
Tim’s responsibilities include establishing a world-class product management and design capability and accelerating development of technology solutions across all markets. Tim has an Associate of Arts degree from Snow College, a Bachelor of Arts degree from Brigham Young University, and an MBA and Master of International Studies from the Marriott School of Management at Brigham Young University.
Omer and his team are responsible for longer term, profitable and sustainable growth of Walmart International across all markets. He holds a B.A. in Economics and Music from Macalester College and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Hari oversees the building and deployment of scalable capabilities and systems to be leveraged across Walmart. He is focused on scaling organizational efficiency by enhancing technology. Hari holds an M.S. in Computer Science from Iowa State University and has an MBA from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley.
Deborah Vaugh is the leader of the Walmart International legal team and ensures compliance across the international markets where the company operates. Deborah received her Master of Laws from the George Washington University Law School in Washington, D.C., and her Bachelor of Laws from the University of Hertfordshire in England
Srini Venkatesan’s team facilitates the digital and physical orchestration of items for the Walmart+ member and customer experiences, as well as enables Walmart’s global Marketplace, omni supply chain, transportation, merchandising and stores. He has worked for Yahoo and Marketo before joining Walmart. He has a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Bharathiar University.
Emma leads Walmart’s multi-disciplinary ethics and compliance program and team for Walmart U.S. and Sam’s Club. She has worked for SunTrust Bank and JPMorgan Chase & Co. before joining Walmart in 2019. She earned her master’s degree in business from the University of South Carolina and her bachelor’s degree in economics from Rutgers University.
